Novaya Zemlya

 

Ralph spent some time of his studies in St. Petersburg, Russia. He therefore longs to return to Russia and would like to link it to his passion of sailing. A few boats sailed already to Franz Joseph Land, but Novaya Zemlya is virtually never visited by yachts. If Russian authorities permit, Ralph would like to sail to Novaya Zemlya.

 

Special highlights should be polar bears that also form the coat of arms of Novaya Zemlya, walruses, whales, glaciers, but possibly also logs drifting from the Siberian rivers.
